I won!!! Gluta C- Intense White white Christmas Promo

I must admit it, I am a super fan or whitening products, probably just like many Filipinas do. Just in my opinion, having fairer skin makes someone more flexible, when it comes to choice of dress, make up and lipstick color. Having whiter skin makes me feel more confident. I can wear shorts and sleeveless which I can’t do if my skin is dark. I can flaunt what I want to, because I have nothing to hide. I also believe that dark skin makes someone beautiful, but just not in my case. 

In order to achieve fairer skin, I tried a lot of skin whitening products particularly soaps. I tried using some brands of kojic, carrot, placenta and papaya soap. Though in all fairness, I was able to observe some positive results, I was unable to use these products for more than three months in the least. That is because the contents of these products are just too strong/harsh for my skin that I once developed dermatitis (as diagnosed by my dermatologist). That was when I used carrot soap in particular, though I generally observed that I have drier skin when using any of those products. I also avoid using alcohol based products since as we know,alcohol has a drying effect on the skin. Because of these problems, I opt to use cream based soaps instead considering that they're milder and don't exacerbate my dry skin but the problem is, none of these products are effective as skin whiteners for me. In order to minimize the drying of my skin, I also increased my oral fluid intake and occasionally used moisturizers.

For some time, I was already okay with my skin color, but when I got pregnant, I got a fair share of my pregnancy hormones. I developed darker skin particularly in my neck, underarms, tummy and even face. They say that this hormone induced skin discoloration will just go away once the hormones are already in their normal level, but I just can't take having dark, uneven skin tone for many months !I already have dark and uneven skin tone since my facial skin is darker compared to the other parts of my body !Yes I know that's odd! I know I already need to to something about this! I want to look great even especially that I am already a mom, but I don't want to go as much as swallowing pills or receive injections just to have white skin (sounds desperate!)

Face and Body Soap 60g and 135g

 Well I also planned on consulting a dermatologist, but even before doing that, I saw my older sister's FB post! And guess what she'd posted!? It's Gluta C intense whitening face andbody soap with glutathione and vitamin C ( I guess they only have one soap variant at that time, since they later manufactured another variant which contains papaya extract as additional ingredient). I also noticed that her skin has actually lightened. That is when I was encouraged to try this product, as seeing her skin lighten is already enough to convince me that this products is effective.

At that time I was not worried if I'll develop dry skin and I actually wonder why! But then with the outcome now, I can say that it's worth the risk. First I tried using their soap (the white bar soap with glutathione and vitamin C)! I was not able to see the result immediately, rather it took around 1-2 weeks before my companions in the house started noticing that my skin is getting lighter. Also, I did not see any peeling off or drying of my skin so I continue to use it (until now)! Because of the good result, I was encouraged to try their other products.

Body Lotion 125ml/300 ml

First I bought Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Lotion Original Whitening Concentrate

with spf 25. The label on the packaging says it has glutathione and vitamin C. As far as I know, there are two available sizes for lotion, the 125 ml and the 300 ml bottles with SRP of Php 164.75 and Php 329.75 respectively. When I first used this lotion, I thought I was allergic at its contents because I developed redness and itchiness which is just tolerable but was also resolved after a few hours, so I continued using it and the allergy like symptoms dis not occur again. I like its smell which is just gentle (...and I also have allergic rhinitis so I despise lotions with very strong smell because it keeps me sneezing) and it also not sticky since it's quickly absorbed by the skin! Glysotech really works! Based from what I have read, Glysotech uses French patented technology for a quick and effective penetration of the skin!

Before, I doubt if glutathione can really be absorbed by the skin for it to exert its effects but based from my internet research, glutathione is best absorbed intravenously, better topically but poor orally! Gluta-C intense whitening body lotion not just whitens the skin but it also has other benefits! It also provides an advanced skin nourishment because of its vitamin C and shea butter contents that are proven effective in moisturizing the skin, thus halting the occurrence of  premature skin aging in the form of  age spots, dullness and dryness. It is also a wide spectrum sunscreen since it has both UVA and UBV and spf 25 which protects the skin from the sun.

Facial Day Cream 30 ml

 I mentioned earlier that my skin in the face is darker than the skin in my other body parts. Good thing , Gluta- C has products that are made specifically for the face. Gluta-9 Intense Whitening Facial Day Cream Whitening and anti- aging with spf 25 is available in 30 ml tube at around Php 149.00 in SM grocery stores. It has the same scent as the lotion and it's non greasy so your skin won't feel heavy upon application. It claims to provide number of skin benefits like intense whitening thru the actions of glutathione, vitamin C and papaya exacts, anti-aging, advanced skin nourishment and sun protection. This product should be applied on face and neck once daily. I apply it in the morning after taking a bath using my barefingers and applying it directly on skin. I also have tried applying it using cotton pads but some of it are absorbed in the cotton pads. I used this product as a moisturizer and I put it on before wearing make up, and the result is really really good!

Facial Serum 30 ml

I also  used Gluta-C Intense Whitening Facial Serum Night Repair Concentrate upon retiring to bed at night. Facial serum is more expensive (around Php 199.00) as compared to the facial day cream.  Aside from its anti-aging and skin whitening properties, Night Repair Serum also helps in the firming and the tightening of skin because of its collagen seaweed extract contents. Unlike the facial day cream, Night Repair Serum is water based so it can easily be absorbed by the skin, and really there are not a single greasy effect and it makes my skin soft and smooth whenever I apply it.

Facial Day Cream and Facial Serum

Both of these products work for my facial skin very well. In just a matter of weeks, my facial skin became as fair as the skin all over my body! If I'll rate this products, I'll definitely give it a 10! But since you need to apply these products to your face regularly, you have to be patient and consistent for you to see the real result.

Body Scrub 120 ml

Another gluta-c product that I bought is the Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub. I was encouraged to use this body scrub because the soap does not work very well in my underarm, though it does work in all others. Also, I know that using scrub is important in removing dead skin cells to make the skin younger and smoother and though I don't regularly use body scrubs, I wanted to try using Gluta-C Intense whitening Body Scrub because I wanted to have whiter underarms!! But actually, it does not work that fast as compared to the soap and facial cream and serum. I have been using the scrub for almost 5 months now, but I did not yet see the result that I want. Maybe still need a few months more. I use the scrub in my face and neck as well, because its micro-beads are  not that harsh to tear the skin, rather it is too gentle in removing dead skin cells. Gluta-C Intense Whitening Body Scrub (120 g) cost Php 99.75

Upon browsing their website, I also learned that they have a product specifically for underarms and bikini areas! Wow! That's good news! I planned on buying this product in the department store, and I even availed the coupon they sent ( a php 30 pesos off if you buy it in mercury drug stores!). Unfortunately, I was too busy and never had the time to buy! 

And i also saw at that time, that they have a promo called Gluta-C White Christmas promo. For this promo, you need to purchase their product and then you need to register online and send the proof of your purchase (scanned/picture of receipt) for you to qualify. Their prices includes electronic gadgets and of course Gluta-C products. Since I regularly buy Gluta-C products, I was able to register and join. One day, I just got a text message saying that I was one of the lucky winners of Gluta-C products and of course, I was so ecstatic since I haven't ever won in promos like this in the past. I was not lucky, but now I am!!!

Whitening Toner 100 ml

I wanted to use Gluta-C Toner, but it was never available in SM grocery stores, where I usually buy my groceries. I used papaya-based cleaner before, but since it's alcohol - based, it stings my face and it makes it dry too. What I like best about Gluta-C toner is that is is alcohol free, I never felt any stinging sensation in my face whenever I apply it, rather it has a cooling effect. I used it for more than a month now and I can already see that it has minimized my facial pores. It also controls oil and said to have anti-acne properties and of course, whitens, moisturized and cleanses the skin. Gluta-C Toner (100 ml) costs Php99.75.

When the package arrived, I was so excited to open it and to try the products inside. So what's inside? A complete line of all gluta-C whitening products, starting from soap, lotion, facial day cream, facial serum, body scrub, whitening toner, gluta-c insta-white, underarm and bikini skin whitening gel, a paper fan and a paper bag! I was so lucky to be one of the winners because it gave me the chance to try all their products for free.

Underarm and Bikini Whitening Gel 20 ml

Good thing I never got the chance to buy Gluta-C Underarm & Bikini Skin Whitening Gel since I got it for free. It claims to prevent melanin formation, thus reduces dark spots and reduce skin pigmentation. Aside from its whitening benefits, it also delays hair growth and moisturize the skin. It's safe for sensitive skin and has anti-bacterial properties, therefore, somewhat acts as a deodorant as well. It is available in gel form and can be applied before using deodorant. So far, I can see some effects, though it's not that noticeable. Gluta-C Underarm & Bikini Skin Whitening Gel (20 ml) cost Php199.00 in drugstores.

Insta White 5 ml

The last product that I was really surprised to know and amazed to try is Gluta-C Insta White Whitening Cream. You can never underestimate the content inside this 5 ml pack because it really works! As what it promised, it makes skin whiter and fairer! It also repairs the skin and erases wrinkles and fine lines in the face. According to the labels, its active contents encourage the production of collagen keeping the skin younger looking. As we know, collagen is a protein which strengthens the skin, keeping it firm, supple and elastic. Collagen is one of the popular contents of anti-aging products nowadays! Gluta-C Insta White whitening cream costs Php 19.00/sachet but you can also but it in pack of three's for only Php 59.75. In fairness, you can save Php2.75 if you'll buy an individual pack.

There are a lot of whitening products in the market, but Gluta-C products are really worth trying for!
